{"id":370,"date":"2010-02-06T13:20:40","date_gmt":"2010-02-06T21:20:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.adamsonic.com\/blog\/?p=370"},"modified":"2010-02-06T13:21:12","modified_gmt":"2010-02-06T21:21:12","slug":"text-to-movie-storyboard-of-the-future","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.adamsonic.com\/blog\/text-to-movie-storyboard-of-the-future\/","title":{"rendered":"Text-to-movie: Storyboard of the future?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Text-to-speech systems have been in development for a very long time.\u00c2\u00a0 One that I use frequently for creating placeholder dialog in games is the <a title=\"Text-to-Speech\" href=\"http:\/\/www2.research.att.com\/~ttsweb\/tts\/demo.php\" target=\"_blank\">AT&amp;T Labs Natural Voices text-to-speech demo<\/a>.\u00c2\u00a0 It&#8217;s a free service that enables the user to type out any phrase and then download an audio file with that phrase spoken by any number of synthesized accents.\u00c2\u00a0 For the most part they sound very realistic!\u00c2\u00a0 The only caveat is that some words need to be spelled phonetically to translate well.<\/p>\n<p>So it was with great pleasure that I discovered the website <a title=\"Xtranormal.com\" href=\"http:\/\/xtranormal.com\" target=\"_blank\">Xtranormal.com<\/a>.
