The first one is <a title=\"Magical 8bit Plug\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ymck.net\/english\/download\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\">Magical 8bit Plug<\/a> by YMCK. This one sounds amazingly close to the original Nintendo sound chip. Closer than anything else I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve ever heard from software. It\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s easy to use and is pretty lightweight on the processor load. It\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s available as a VSTi and Audio Unit plug-in.<br \/>\nThe second soft synth I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve been enjoying is <a title=\"Download Chip32\" href=\"http:\/\/www.dontcrack.com\/freeware\/downloads.php\/id\/3022\/software\/Chip32\/\" target=\"_blank\">Chip32<\/a>. It also has an 8 bit sound similar to the NES sound chip. One cool feature of Chip32 is that it gives the user the ability to draw the waveform, updating it in real time. Brad from <a title=\"NGA\" href=\"http:\/\/www.myspace.com\/newgreyarea\" target=\"_blank\">New Grey Area<\/a> turned me on to this one and I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve been using it for a number of electro tracks I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve been working on.
