What kind of music do you spin?

For DJs of electronic music, one of the biggest challenges is how to describe the music you play.  The Chickenhed Stylemaker machine is a solution to that problem.  It can also be used for inspiration.  Perhaps Chickenhed Stylemaker is the new Oblique Strategies?

Thanks to Jerry Abstract for the tip!

The best composition prorgam I have come across that enables you to prorgam instruments via MIDI and loop custom drum beats is FL Studio. I use the producer edition, but that may be a bit out of most people’s price range if you can get around that somehow, go for it.
